The Job

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks an Info & Data Systems Analyst for the Global Insights and Analytics department.
Warner Bros. Global Research, Insights & Analytics department seeks a full-time Info & Data Systems Analyst. We are a diverse group of people who enjoy working hard in fast-paced, detail-oriented environment as we support and hold each other accountable to doing our very best every day. Director of Info & Data Systems, you will support all departmental teams daily operations, as well as various info and data systems initiatives that advance our efforts, and the efforts of the company globally. You will be the “go to” for all departmental teams ranging from Research to Creative, Audience Data to Fan Forward Focus Groups, that support and grow our brands globally including HBO, Cartoon Network, Warner Bros., and TCM.

As part of the Info & Data Systems team you will:
  1. IMPACT TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS STUDIO-WIDE: Your technical insights can influence and contribute to Enterprises-wide escalations, responses, and policy developments
  2. REIMAGINE WHAT SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY OF TECHNOLOGY IS: Your creative insights can influence and contribute to decisions on business and consumer technology solutions
  3. HAVE A SEAT AT THE TABLE: Be a part of a project from conception and be on a team that is successful and valued company-wide
  4. INFLUENCE BUSINESS DECISIONS: Use your technical talents to make our stakeholders look great, make sense, and tell a story that provides an emotional reaction that influences and drives business decisions

The Daily
  • Support an array of info and data systems issues
    • Communications, Collaboration and Scheduling Software (Teams, WebEx, Zoom, Outlook)
    • Computer Hardware (PCs, MACs, printers, peripherals, network, servers)
    • Audio-Visual equipment (cameras, microphones, displays, Crestron, PolyCom, conference rooms)
    • Data analytics and reporting software (Tableau, SAS, MicroStrategy, Teradata, SQL, Access, Excel, Nielsen, Internal data sources)
    • Video and Graphics software (PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, Curator)
    • Application programming (VBA, .NET, JavaScript, PowerShell)
    • File Sharing (Shared Drives, SharePoint, OneDrive, Box, Aspera, Internal research hub)
    • Web design (Wix, HTML, CSS, REST, JSON, XML, DNS)
  • Work across all departmental teams
    • Act as a “First Responder”
    • Work quickly and independently to evaluate the issues
    • Work strategically and creatively to make recommendations to the Exec. Director for appropriate solutions/responses
    • Implement appropriate resolutions under the guidance and in agreement with the direction of the Exec. Director and in compliance with company policies and procedures
    • Serve as a liaison between our end users and the Enterprise Information Services department who is primarily responsible for Enterprise-wide infrastructure and applications
    • Support remote staff located in multiple buildings in the area, as well as out of state
    • Provide technical assistance and basic training in the proper use of computer systems and software programs including remote access and on the proper use of peripheral electronic equipment used to enhance presentations and viewing
  • Support our FanLab
    • Daily operations/Focus groups setup and operations
    • Troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance
  • Maintain documentation to advance your work and the department’s
    • Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation supporting assigned and related areas of responsibility
    • Perform data entry and maintenance of records such as, but not limited to, project documents, user instructions, general reports and/or systems errors
    • Keep abreast of emerging media technologies and trends, and report findings
  • Manual labor will be required to set up, service and maintain equipment, furniture, and packages/shipments
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

The Essentials
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical support function
  • Previous comparable employment experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a management information systems or related computer science discipline
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse community across all levels of business
  • Ability to analyze and resolve computer problems and to coordinate hardware, software, and network solutions
  • Knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, hardware, basic networking, and communications, including
    • Windows and Macintosh O/S
    • Microsoft Office 365 office productivity software (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
    • Consumer-grade multimedia entertainment options (cable/satellite, mobile media devices, IPTV, MMO, HDCP)
    • Networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DMZ, VPN)
    • Application programming, database, and reporting environments (VBA, .NET, SQL Server, Tableau).
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, including the ability to champion a project and coordinate resources from start to finish with strict attention to detail
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Establish and maintain highly effective customer-focused working relationships
  • A strong interest in digital media entertainment technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact well with a wide variety of professional staff from internal support staff to executive management, to external contractors and vendors
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a high-volume environment
  • Strong follow-up abilities with a high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as, independently
  • Must have the ability to work well under time constraints
  • Must possess a professional mannerism
  • Translate technical speak and troubleshooting steps in a clear and concise manner that even my grandmother would understand
  • Ability to think outside of the box and find creative ways to solve problems
