Opportunity Overview

The Job

As Payment Partnerships Manager - EMEA you will define, implement, maintain and improve the Payments Partnership strategy for the Region and be responsible for all Payment Partnerships across the Region

The Daily
  • Manage the relationship with existing payment vendors– monitor results and identify enhancements possibilities
  • Coordinate and work with Global HBO team on global agreements and D2C payment best practices
  • Identify key missing payment solutions, working closely with Business Development, Product and DIP
  • Participate in the tender process, negotiating terms and taking responsibility for the execution of agreements with new vendors
  • Lead negotiations with Telco operators in the case of DCB across EMEA
  • Identify and monitor clear KPIs per solution to enable complete performance reporting and analysis on results
  • Work with the HBO Europe Data, Insights & Planning (DIP) team to analyse D2C subscription management performance and costs, Payment authorization/renewal success level, issuing bank performance, chargeback/credits, etc.

The Essentials
  • Extensive professional experience in payment solutions
  • Demonstrated experience working with Over-The-Top (OTT) services or similar digital subscription-based businesses
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering sales through complex negotiation
  • Able to build and maintain strong business relationships with partners, suppliers and other commercial businesses
  • Fluent English language skills, written and oral
  • Up to date with new technologies, information technology and online marketing trends
  • Professional experience of working for an international company, on cross-regional projects
  • Commercially and financially astute, used to developing and working with budgets and forecasts
  • Proven ability to blend strategic vision with excellent operational execution
