HBO seeks Marketing Interns for Summer 2020. We are seeking interns who can bring their passion for entertainment, knowledge of pop-culture, communication and organization skills to our Marketing teams across our Brand, Consumer Products, Home Entertainment, Creative Services, Photo Services, and Marketing Operations. This internship is designed for students interested in pursuing careers in marketing, market research and analytics, communications, digital media or other related fields. Interns will gain insight and knowledge of the industry by way of practical work experience, such as projects with social media, competitive research and analysis, support with recap summaries, reports, and business plans, event planning, and exposure to various facets of the business.
- Pursuit of a college degree in Marketing/Advertising/Business/Digital Marketing or related major.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge in Microsoft Excel required.
- Passion for the entertainment industry.
- Outstanding time management skills to handle multiple and changing priorities
The summer program runs for 10 weeks from June to August. Eligible students must be rising juniors or seniors enrolled in a degree granting university or college.
Able to work in New York and secure housing accommodations (HBO will not cover the cost of housing). Passionate about Film, TV, Media & Entertainment.
Prior internship experience a plus. All internship positions are paid.
