Job Title: Contracts Coordinator

Description: Prepare Deal Point Summaries (“DPS”) & Business Affairs Retained Rights (“BARR”) reports. Input BARR information in UpDoc. Run queries for exploitable rights. Drafts Director’s Guild of America (“DGA”) Letters for all newly released Pictures. Scan final draft, mail and file. Handle the mailing, scanning, photocopying, and internal distribution of all correspondence between the Division and clients. Drafts Date Change Notification Letters. Scan final draft, mail and file. Updates Contract Administration’s Monthly Status Report with newly generated deals and Deal ID numbers, as applicable. Researches addresses for Director/Agent in IMDb Pro for newly released Pictures. Coordinates clerical special projects for Business Affairs (e.g., ensure all boxes are labeled correctly and all files are logged appropriately in Master Log before sending expired deals to Iron Mountain for archiving, document migration, etc.), as needed. Update information in Business Affairs’ computer system known as EDOC. Maintain and update Contract Administration’s Master File Lists (e.g., DGA list, New Deals, Active deals, etc.). Other job related duties as assigned.

Requirements: Extensive knowledge of computers, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Access are required. 45wpm. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of Television Distribution. Minimum of 4 years experience with television contract interpretation or performing the essential job duties of this position required. Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Must have good attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions. Must be able to work well under time constraints and meet deadlines. Must be able to handle multiple tasks. Must be able to organize & schedule work effectively. Must possess a professional mannerism.
