Description: This position is a strategic partner with the client organization to drive IT solutions for existing and new business challenges. This includes the accountability for short term and long term application planning, development activities, and production support across service providers. This position oversees the delivery and support of client’s Production Planning and Inventory Management, Demand Management, Vendor Management Inventory (VMI), and EDI interaction with vendors, including change and incident management as well as the promotion of new functionality to production. This position proactively monitors all Service Level Agreement metrics on any outsourced services within their portfolio to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. This position manages the pipeline of enhancements requests and jointly prioritizes efforts with the client. This position is also accountable for the IT investment and roadmap for the client organization including technology evaluation, capital investment and on-going recurring support costs.

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required. Undergraduate degree required. Graduate degree preferred. 8-10 years of Information technology experience in a leadership role, managing a complex portfolio of applications across multiple technical platforms. 5+ years experience with SAP’s SCM solutions (e.g., PP&IM,andAPO, ) and/or specific expertise with alternative add-ons to SAP’s core ERP solution (e.g., Manugistics deployed for demand management as an alternative to APO). 5+ years of experience managing both employee and contracting resources. 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Systems with an emphasis on Production Planning, Inventory Management, Demand Management (DM), and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). EDI experience, including interaction with vendors, is strongly preferred. SAP ERP solutions for supply chain systems. Prior experience working closely with supply chain business executives to document and understand their business, strategic and systems requirements. Understanding of industry trends and direction. Masters and applies expert knowledge of application technology and associated leading edge solutions and strategies related to the client’s business to help them achieve their business goals and objectives. In-depth knowledge of all phases of system development lifecycle, including production support. Senior level project management skills. Ability to effective manage large teams and budget. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to all levels of management and staff. Ability to staff, motivate and develop a highly productive and effective workforce.
